About Lali Pali:
The story of Lali Pali began with a mosaic painting. While working on this piece which was meant to be an ode to Palestine, Nadia got the idea to incorporate tatreez into it. So she began searching for women who worked in hand-embroidery stitching in Lebanon that she could work with to bring her idea to life.
This led her to enter the refugee camps in Lebanon that made her realize the extent of humble means the women living there had available to live on. Ultimately, this inspired Nadia to begin drawing designs of accessories instead as she saw that through this way, she saw a much-needed opportunity to provide employment and income opportunities for the women living the camps so they in turn can provide for their families.
Though Lali Pali is still at the beginning of its journey, Nadia has managed to grow the impact of her brand from benefiting just one tatreez artisan to benefiting 16 skilled women-artisans in a span of just a few short months.
