ABC Wellbeing Colouring Book by Natalie Najjar

Natalie Najjar is an artist and visual designer based in Palestine. Her coloring book for all ages, ABC Wellbeing, features mindful illustrations to accompany each letter of the alphabet to inspire creative expression and contemplation. She writes “My artistic style generally focuses on intricate details and reflects traditional cultural art in a fresh and modern look. I am influenced by Middle-Eastern culture and Arabic Calligraphy and this can be be seen through my artwork.”

The book consists of 28 coloring sheets where each sheet illustrates a life value, In addition to a doodling sheet (free drawing page for experimentation). The book is dedicated to different age groups (It appeals to the young and elderly) through its diversity in the levels of drawings. The book is in both English and Arabic languages (in the same version). ABC Wellbeing is also educational since young people would be learning different life values and their meaning in Arabic & English and it also acts as a reminder for adults to embrace their life values in everyday life situations and connect with them artistically.

Natalie named this Book as “ABC wellbeing” since she believes that our values are considered as the core/ basics of our wellbeing and embracing them shapes who we truly are.

Meditative art (specifically coloring) helps calm extraneous thoughts, reduce stress, increase focus and promotes a mindful artistic experience.
